Index Librorum Prohibitorum

There’s an insidious historical revisionism, funded by The Templeton Foundation, that has even infected publications by prestigious universities such as Cambridge and Harvard, which claims that scientific advance was not hindered by Christianity. There is a simple, three-word refutation.

    “I love the story of the Austrian State Index of Prohibited Books which had to place itself on the Index in 1777 after students were getting copies solely to find out what they ought to be reading!”
